• Canecas verdes: Los residuos que se depositan en canecas de basura de este color, son aquellos no peligrosos, inertes y comunes.

• Canecas grises: Allí se ponen los residuos no peligrosos, reciclables como el cartón y similares.

• Canecas rojas: En este tipo de canecas se depositan los residuos de alto riesgo como aquellos que son peligrosos, infecciosos, biosanitarios y cortupunzantes.

• Canecas azules: El vidrio y el plásticos, son los materiales que deben ponerse dentro de canecas de reciclaje o puntos ecológicos de color azul.

• Canecas cafés: Se introducen en canecas de color café, los metales.

• Canecas Beige: Allí van los residuos orgánicos y biodegradables.

• Blancas: El vidrio lo pondrá en canecas de color blanco y muy limpios y sin residuos líquidos.
